VicRoads launched a new online method on Monday 20 July 2015, for submitting permit applications for Class 1 oversize and/ or Over Mass Heavy Vehicles (OMHV), Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV) and agricultural
vehicles for travel within Victoria.
This new process developed by VicRoads is designed to streamline the permit application process for Victorian registered vehicles, to reducing processing times with a safe and secure payment gateway.
Victorian registered vehicles will continue to use the existing NHVR application forms for submitting their permit applications with the ability to upload supporting documentation to assist with the processing.
VicRoads has notified key government and industry stakeholders of this development and following link provides access to the new permits portal.
