At the 2016 Concrete Pumper’s Expo the first ever “Pump Operator of the Year” and “Line Operator of the Year” competitions will be held.
Pump operator of the year:
To win, pumpers must control a boom arm safely and with precision to touch the hose on a number of checkpoints in the fastest time possible (image right). The competition will be held from approximately 12:00pm midday.
Line operator of the year:
To win, pumpers must assemble and dissemble a 15m length line hose in the fastest possible time. Pumper’s will either compete against their colleagues or compete against other companies. The competition will be held from approximately 12:30pm.
The winner of each competition will take away the title of Pump and/or Line Operator of the Year as well as a trophy to prove it!
You can pre-register for the event and other activities on the day below so make sure you don't miss out!
Entry into the competition will be $10 on the day and all money received from the competitions will be reimbursed back into the Association and assist with the costs of running the Expo.
