SafeWork SA is putting the spotlight on falls at work in a new four-part educational short video series aimed at reducing injuries and fatalities
“Slips, trips and falls are the second leading cause of injuries in Australia, and the most serious is falling from heights,” said SafeWork SA Executive Director Martyn Campbell.
“In fact, half of all falls that resulted in a fatality were from heights of three meters or less, which highlights the need to be aware of the safety risks no matter how high you are working.”
The four-part educational video series helps viewers manage the risk when working at heights and managing the risk of falls. This series will assist business operators in complying with their work health and safety responsibilities, as well as providing helpful information and tips to workers and home renovators.
