The Concrete Pumping Association of Australia has been notified by SafeWork NSW of the first Building and Construction Safety Symposium.
The symposium will bring together the Regulator and the building and construction industry to launch the “Scaffold Industry Safety Standard” as well as to conduct interactive workshops to address the ongoing issues around working at heights in NSW. The CPAA invites its members to take part in the symposium to further understand these issues and how to avoid them.
The symposium will be held on 10 February 2022 at CommBank Stadium, Parramatta. Attending the symposium will be the Minister for Better Regulation, the Hon. Kevin Anderson, the NSW
Building Commissioner David Chandler OAM, and representatives from SafeWork NSW and industry.
