CPAA Member, CPE Machinery, has announced the company has been acquired by Putzmeister Oceania.
In a statement to the Concrete Pumping Association of Australia, CPEM expressed they are "excited to announce that Putzmeister has acquired CPE Machinery. We will transition to become Putzmeister Oceania."
CPE Machinery has always had a deeply rooted passion for all-things concrete pumping. Part of their mission includes striving to be the best at what they do, and the outgoing Managing Director of CPEM, David Bond, believes that this acquisition can take the company to greater heights. Merging the global expertise of the Putzmeister brand and the domestic know-how of the CPEM workforce to will create a stronger company that can better serve the market.
Putzmeister's APAC CEO, Michael Schmid-Lindenmayer explains, “CPE Machinery has for a long time been one of our flagship dealers. For us, seeing the growth of CPE Machinery over the last few years, and the strength of the Australian market, it is a very natural progression to make this acquisition. It presents an opportunity for us to inject further investments into the future of concrete placing in Australia and surrounding countries. We will continue to strengthen the offering, grow the business and ultimately provide the best support possible to the Oceania region”.
Moving forward, all members will be dealing directly with Putzmeister. However, not much else is set to change other than legal identity. Mr Bond told the CPAA, "Mostly, it will be the same people, same products and same brands. Business as usual!"
The CPAA supports CPE Machiery in their transition and would like to congratulate them on this achievement. We look forward to working with Putzmeister Oceania in future.
