Panorama Tower - Longest concrete pour in America

The 252 metre tower is set to be the tallest skyscarper on the East Coast of USA located outside NYC. The project is due for completion in 2017. The buildings foundation was completed with a huge concrete pumping operation which lasted 23 hours, utilised more than 170 trucks and used more than 11,200 cubic metres of ready-mix concrete.

WorkCover QLD have issued a safety alert to highlight the potential risks associated with inadequate support under outrigger feet on mobile plant – particularly on poor ground, including fill following a fatal incident involving a travel tower in Brisbane earlier in December 2015.
