There are only a few days until bookings close for the public to attend Australia's first Shotcrete Training & Certification event. The Concrete Pumping Association of Australia (CPAA), in partnership with the American Shotcrete Association (ASA) and American Concrete Institute (ACI), will be host the Shotcrete Training and Certification in Melbourne over the 2 days.

The AS 2550 series of Australian Standards is maintained by Standards Australia committee ME-005 Cranes and its subcommittees. An active project to revise AS 2550.15:1994 Cranes—Safe use, Part 15: Concrete placing equipment has recently been cancelled because, despite several attempts to resolve concerns raised by various stakeholders, agreement on the content of the revised document could not be reached.
